TIOXIDE® R-TC30 pigment is an alumina-silica surface-treated hydrophobic rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It combines high durability with excellent optical properties, including color stability, low reactivity, high dispersibility, and opacity. Its fine crystal and particle sizes place it in the family of blue-undertone plastics grades.
TIOXIDE® R-TC30 pigment is extremely well-suited for all plastics. Its high resistance to outdoor exposure makes it particularly suitable for products designed for outdoor use, such as:

As with all fine powders, the handling of titanium dioxide pigments can give rise to airborne dust. Good industrial hygiene practices should be observed to avoid the generation and subsequent inhalation of dust. For more information, refer to the material safety data sheet.
The subject is too wide to be adequately covered in a technical data sheet. Customers should seek confirmation of compliance for each of the particular regulations they are interested in by contacting Venator.
The pigment should not be stored in areas exposed to weather. Avoid direct contact with moisture. Proper storage ensures that the pigment’s properties do not deteriorate with time. For optimal performance, use the product on a first-in, first-out basis from receipt of shipment.
Venator’s titanium dioxide pigments are available in 25kg bags and a range of flexible intermediate bulk containers.
