Orgal K 6455 E

ORGAL® K 6455 E is a high-solids, APEO-free, pure acrylic polymer produced with UV crosslinking technology. It is designed for elastomeric wall coatings offering outstanding exterior durability, excellent elongation, tensile strength, crack-bridging properties, and dirt pick-up resistance. It maintains performance even at very low temperatures after aging and does not yellow upon UV exposure.

ORGAL® K 6455 E is suitable for the formulation of elastomeric wall coatings that exhibit:

• Excellent UV and crack resistance
• Outstanding balance of elongation, tensile strength, and dirt pick-up resistance over a wide temperature range
• Very good water vapor permeability
• Protection against penetration of CO₂, Cl⁻ ions, air, and acidic gases
• Good adhesion to a variety of substrates without degradation
• Non-yellowing appearance with age

For optimal performance, ensure the substrate is clean, free from biological degradation, and does not have cracks larger than 2 mm.

To ensure safe storage, containers should be well sealed to prevent water evaporation and skin formation. The emulsion must be stored between 5-25°C for a maximum of 12 months. Freezing must be avoided.
