ORGAL® F 4630 is a self-crosslinking, core-shell acrylic polymer emulsion designed for high-performance industrial wood coatings. It is APEO-free and formaldehyde-free. Coatings based on ORGAL® F 4630 offer excellent dry film transparency and wood wetting properties. The product is suitable for both clear and opaque wood sealers, primers, and topcoats. Additionally, it is ideal for garage floor paints and concrete sealers with low VOC capability.

ORGAL® F 4630 requires the addition of suitable coalescents for proper film formation. Recommended coalescents include Butyl Glycol (BG), Dowanol DPM, Dowanol PnB, Texanol, etc. A good starting amount is 4-5% on the binder as supplied. Ladder studies are strongly recommended to determine the optimum amount.
Key features of coatings based on ORGAL® F 4630 include:
To ensure safe storage, containers should be well sealed to prevent water evaporation and skin formation. The emulsion must be stored between 5-25°C for a maximum of 12 months. Freezing must be avoided.
Note: In-can color and viscosity may change during storage; these changes do not affect the performance of the dry film.
