DISPERSANT ASP 40 is an APEO and Formaldehyde-free, highly effective dispersant for anionic pigments and extenders in aqueous systems. The product is compatible with all common synthetic emulsions, creates little foam, and is effective in a wide pH range.

DISPERSANT ASP 40 is generally added to emulsion paints at 0.1% – 0.5%, calculated based on pigments/extenders. The actual required quantity depends on the type of pigments/extenders used and should be determined case-by-case. For combined addition with nonionic compatibilizers, mixing proportions of 1:2 to 2:1 are effective. If more than 1% of DISPERSANT ASP 40 is added, it should be tested to ensure the water sensitivity of the film does not increase.
In emulsion paint procedures, DISPERSANT ASP 40 is typically added before the addition of pigments/extenders.
To ensure safe storage of this emulsion, containers should be well sealed to prevent water evaporation and skin forming. The emulsion must be stored between 5°C and 25°C for a maximum of 12 months. Freezing must be avoided.
