Revokem RP4000 is a specially formulated, set retarding additive in fine powder form, designed to control open and set times in Self-Levelling Underlayments (SLUs) and HAC-rich mortars. It is a blend of specially selected organic acids, processed to produce a fine, free-flowing powder for efficient dispersion in cementitious and gypsum-based drymix mortar formulations.
Revokem RP4000 can be used to control and extend working, open, and set times when used in HAC-based binder systems, including SLUs, Rapid Set Repair Mortars, and Screeds. It is particularly effective during periods of high ambient temperatures, preventing early setting or premature loss of open time. Revokem RP4000 can be used on its own or alongside Cemkem’s performance additive range, such as Lithkem, Kemplast, Expelair, Celopro, and Cemkem SRA.
The optimum dosage is dependent on mix design, processes, and raw materials. Typical drymix mortar applications require:
Note: The optimum dosage should be determined through appropriate laboratory trials. Overdosing may negatively affect final strengths.
