Kemfloor Ultra is a high-performance screed admixture specifically designed to produce high early strengths, low shrinkage, and fast-drying screeds. It is an innovative blend of materials with excellent dispersion properties to improve admixture dose efficiency and performance consistency. Adding Kemfloor Ultra improves ease of placing and finishing, leading to quicker access for trades and potential project savings due to faster completions.
Kemfloor Ultra has been designed for all cement-based semi-dry screed applications and flooring types:
* Screed should be laid in accordance with BS8204.
Suitable to:
*Subject to site conditions, ambient temperature/humidity, and retardation period. Confirmation of residual moisture content should be undertaken before applying subsequent floor coverings.
**Underfloor heating pipes require a minimum of 30mm coverage in accordance with BS 8204.
The dosage rate will depend on the mix design, mixing processes, aggregate grading, and fines. The recommended dosage levels are:
Add Kemfloor Ultra to the screed mix with the mixing water and mix for a minimum of 1 minute or until a homogeneous mix is achieved.
*Optimum dose and water content should be determined by carrying out appropriate laboratory and site trials.

Kemfloor Ultra has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in its original packaging and must be stored between +5°C and +35°C. If exposed to freezing temperatures or excessive heat, some separation may occur. If separation is observed due to prolonged standing, freezing, or heat, the material should be agitated before use. In case of uncertainty, the material should be assessed by Cemkem.
Kemfloor Ultra is supplied in 10-litre bottles and IBCs. Alternative bottles can be sourced upon request.
