EXPELAIR DF2000

Expelair DF2000 is a specially formulated, high-performance powder defoamer with excellent solubility that has been designed to effectively remove unwanted entrapped air generated during processing, mixing and application of a wide range of drymix mortar formulations.

Expelair DF2000, greatly improves the workability of drymix mortars whilst significantly increasing the fresh density and mechanical strengths. Expelair DF2000 provides improved durability and can reduce surface defects.

Expelair DF2000 has been formulated to be used in multiple applications including; high performance self levelling underlayments, flowable screeds, mortars and construction grouts.

Expelair DF2000 can be used on its own or together with Cemkem’s comprehensive drymix mortar additive range*

The optimum dosage will be dependent on mix design, processes, and raw materials.

For typical drymix mortar applications;

– 0.05% – 0.3% by weight of powder. *

*The optimum dose should be determined by completing appropriate laboratory trials.
