EXPELAIR DF1000

Expelair DF1000 is a specially formulated, cost effective powder defoamer with high solubility. It has been designed to efficiently remove unwanted entrapped air generated during processing, mixing and application of a wide range of drymix mortar formulations. Expelair DF1000 produces higher fresh density, increased mechanical strengths and can reduce surface defects.

Expelair DF1000 is formulated to be used in applications including self levelling underlayment’s, flowable screeds, grouts, tile adhesives, cementitious repair mortars, plasters and fillers. Expelair DF1000 can be used on its own or together with Cemkem’s comprehensive drymix mortar additive range*

The optimum dosage will be dependent on mix design, processes, and raw materials. For typical drymix mortar applications:

– 0.1% – 0.3% by weight of powder. *
