Calumex® UPC White is an ultra-performance cement specially designed for fast setting, rapid drying, and extremely high strength development. It achieves CEM I strengths within 24 hours and offers a whiteness of 90. This cement is characterized by compensated shrinkage, low alkalinity, reduced efflorescence, and the ability to function as an additive or a straight binder.
Calumex UPC White is particularly suited for decorative concrete, including:
Additionally, it is ideal for applications requiring durability and high performance, such as:
Calumex UPC White is based on A.C.A. (Advanced Calcium Aluminate) technology, which enhances early strength development, reduces setting times, and compensates for shrinkage seen in traditional Portland cement. When used as a binder or blended with white Portland cement, it produces durable concrete or mortar achieving CEM I 52,5 strengths within six hours instead of 28 days. Conventional retarders, such as Delta 20, can be used to delay the setting time without compromising rapid set or strength development. Furthermore, the technology utilizes nearly 100% of the water during hydration, minimizing shrinkage.

During production, Calumex UPC White requires significantly less energy for calcination (1250°C compared to 1500°C for Portland cement). The softer clinker further reduces the energy required for grinding by half, resulting in a carbon footprint 33% smaller than that of Portland cement.
