Blanc Fixe N (Synthetic)

Blanc Fixe N is a synthetic barium sulfate produced from highly purified solutions in a defined growth process.

• Paints and Coatings: Blanc Fixe N is used in weather-resistant and chemical-resistant paint systems, such as primers and can-coating systems. It is excellent in matt and semi-matt powder-coating systems due to its good rheological properties and excellent compatibility with colored pigments.
• Paper: Thanks to its chemical resistance to acids and alkalis (e.g., acid-glued paper), it is suitable as a filler in the pulp with good retention and uniform particle-size structure.
• Plastics and Rubber: Blanc Fixe N serves as an inert and color-neutral extender to enhance density in noise- and vibration-suppression systems. It achieves extension levels of up to 80% and is suitable for color-sensitive systems with long-term stability. It is excellent for use in adhesives, mastic compounds, epoxy resin sizing pastes, unsaturated polyester and polyurethane systems, glazes, impregnation agents, grinding pastes, lubricants, separating agents, additives, and soaps.
