Orgal F 4530

ORGAL® F 4530 is an APEO-free, self-crosslinking acrylic copolymer designed for hard and chemical-resistant interior wood coatings. Coatings based on ORGAL® F 4530 are highly durable and exhibit good film transparency, gloss, and toughness. It is suitable for both clear and opaque interior wood topcoats, primers, and sealers.

ORGAL® F 4530 can achieve the required hardness through the addition of suitable coalescents. Suitable coalescents include Dowanol DPnB, Dowanol DPM, Butyl Glycol, or Dowanol PnB. Recommended blends are BG/DPnB or DPM/DPnB, with a good starting amount of 4-5% on the binder as supplied. Ladder studies are recommended to determine the optimum amount.

To ensure safe storage of this emulsion, containers should be well sealed to prevent water evaporation and skin formation. The emulsion must be stored between 5-25°C for a maximum of 12 months, avoiding freezing.
