EWO

EWO is an extremely white, fine, and easily dispersible barium sulfate extender. This product is obtained from high-quality barytes concentrates through a special preparation and refining process at Deutsche Baryt Industrie, Bad Lauterberg, in Germany’s mountainous Harz region.

• Paints and Coatings: Thanks to its high purity, EWO is successfully used in high-quality primers, anti-corrosion coatings, mastic compounds, latex paints, pigment preparations, and floor coatings. In standard powder-coating systems, EWO enhances hiding power and permits partial replacement of pigments, significantly improving paint production costs.
• Plastics and Rubbers: EWO is widely utilized in plastics and rubber blends as a neutral hue inert extender. The special preparation process gives it a consistently low yellow hue, making it suitable for color-sensitive systems requiring long-term stability, such as PVC films and jointing compounds. It exhibits excellent dispersibility in plastisols and UP resins. The low coarse-particle content ensures high-quality surfaces in plastics.

Keep the product unstacked in dry and closed rooms at normal temperature and air humidity. To achieve the best possible results, storage under the conditions stated above is recommended. Use within 12 months from delivery.
