FeSO4.H2O is a mineral additive in animal feed, acting as a blood tonic substance for livestock and stimulating animal growth. It can also be used to make pigments, such as red ferric oxide. As a granular material, it serves as an effective fertilizer to improve soil, remove moss and lichen, and act as a pesticide for preventing pathological changes in wheat and fruit trees. Additionally, it functions as a catalyst for plant growth and facilitates plant absorption.
