Masonry Water Repellent
BRB Siloen® WRC4 is typically applied undiluted in one layer in the desired thickness, depending on the substrate conditions (porosity, humidity, etc.). The substrates should be dry (less than 5% surface moisture) and clean. Cracks bigger than 0.3 mm must be repaired before treatment.
For large surfaces, apply BRB Siloen® WRC4 with an airless gun, or use a trowel followed by a roller for uniform coat-weight on smaller areas. Dosage generally ranges from 100 to 700 g/m² based on porosity and humidity of the building material. Avoid applying under direct sunlight, and ensure substrate temperature is between 5 to 45 °C. Protect treated surfaces from rain for at least 4 hours.
Rising Damp Proofing Chemical
BRB Siloen® WRC4 can be injected into walls affected by capillary rising damp. Drill holes along the base of the wall with an inclination, inject BRB Siloen® WRC4, and seal with non-shrinking mortar.
