BRB Siloen® WA 261

BRB Siloen® WA 261 is a modified trisiloxane that provides outstanding surface tension reduction and super spreading properties.

Surface wetting additive for coatings and inks.

• Excellent surface tension depressant
• Water soluble
• Helps flow, leveling, and air release
• No or very little foam stabilization
• Suitable for waterborne, solvent, and UV/EB curing systems

• Low surface tension (typically 20.5 mN/m)

BRB Siloen® WA 261 should be added to the finished formulation or eventually during the let-down stage. Typical dosage of BRB Siloen® WA 261 is 0.1–0.3% for water-based coatings and 0.5% in the case of solvent-based coatings.
